Harum Scarum (1965)
A middle-aged male singer gets himself caught in a mission where he has to help some new friends rescue a king who has been assassinated. Along the way, he and his new friends get to know each other better and also he falls in love with the king's daughter.

After reading the script, Col. Tom Parker thought the film was a comedy and suggested having a talking camel in the movie.
Upon hearing about the movie for the first time, Elvis loved the idea of his character as being somewhat of a sheik. He liked the character because he thought he resembled Rudolph Valentino. During filming in Los Angeles, he would wear the headpiece on his way home and even to the dinner table at his house in Bel-Air. Eventually, he grew tired of the film because his character was made to look like a fool.
Continuity
In the climactic fight scene, set at night, the lighting changes from torch lit darkness to broad daylight, and back, several times.
Factual errors
After escaping the palace of Sinan, Tyrone and Zacha are pursued by his henchman, some of whom are carrying machine guns. At one point the, the henchmen fire on the fleeing pair, but the guns are totally silent.
