Quotes

[Last lines]
Adam Mitchell: So where are you men of courage? Where are you, fathers who fear the Lord? It's time to rise up and answer the call that God has given to you, and to say, "I will. I will. I will."

Filming Locations

Albany, Georgia, USA

While filming at the dark house where Adam and Shane search for the suspects, there was a real gang nearby who got used to them being there, thinking they were only actors, but there were a few real officers with them who carried out a real arrest during a drug deal while filming was going on.

While filming the arrest early in the film, the actors who played the gangsters were actually sharing their faith with local people in between takes, including the two that pass by on bikes while they're driving to the house.

The Tazer gun used in the arrest was real. It wasn't fully charged so it wouldn't hurt anyone, but while filming, it actually recoiled and shocked Shane Fuller (Kevin Downes), not the gangster. He then fell down and cut his hand on a brick.

The baby in the truck at the beginning was Ken Bevels real son. They were not expecting him to be crying when they opened the door, but it fit perfectly for the scene. In the audio commentary Stephen Kendrick says "there was nobody in the car prompting him to cry, we all were shocked and got chills that day when he opened the truck and the baby cried like that, it was GOD directing that portion of the scene, we were blown away by that".

The scene that Adam Mitchell is watching on TV (with his daughter in his lap) is from the house fire in Fireproof (2008).

Continuity

The uniforms and patrol cars that the guys have say "Dougherty County Sheriff's Office", but when David is typing the letter on his laptop to his ex-girlfriend he states that he works for "Albany Sheriff's Office."

Factual errors

The scene where Javier is in the police car with the thug shouldn't happen. It is against the law to have an innocent civilian in the back of a police car with a criminal.

Revealing mistakes

During the carjack scene there are several shots of the interior of the truck, and the gear select lever is obviously in the Park position even though they are "driving".

The worksite where Javier went to for the new job is the same construction site that he was fired from.

Miscellaneous

The Bible verse (Joshua 24:15) shown before the credits begin says "Choose today who you will serve . . ." when the correct pronoun to use is "whom".

Crew or equipment visible

When Nathan falls off the truck while the thug crashes the truck in the tree, a stunt double is seen in the truck (wearing a green shirt/goatee) instead of the thug.

Boom mic visible

When the thug is put into the back of the squad car with Javier, the boom mic is reflected in the car's rear window.
